Prevent Windscreen Fogging

Prevent Windscreen Fogging with PINGI Car

Dehumidifiers.

How often do you drive off and your windscreen starts fogging up? This happens on a regular basis in cities like Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne. During the colder months with your car parked outside, this can become problematic.

When you get into the car, the air may already be very moist. Your breathing inside the car adds to the moisture and very soon your windscreen will start fogging up. This is very distracting and may require you to stop to rectify matters. The best strategy is to open all windows or put your air conditioning on full, targeting your windscreen. During winter, this strategy may take time and could also be quite uncomfortable. CarsGuide takes a detailed look at how to prevent windscreen fogging.

Want to prevent windscreen fogging?

Just change your driving habits slightly.

Our prevent windscreen fogging strategy requires 4 PINGI XL 450g car dehumidifiers. Place two car dehumidifiers in the car at the end of the day. One next to the windscreen and the other near the back window. These two moisture traps are able to absorb more than 350ml of moisture before saturation. The blue indicator on the PINGI turns light pink to let you know this has happened. Replace the saturated car dehumidifiers when you travel and you will prevent windscreen fogging. The saturated dehumidifiers are recharged in a microwave oven and ready for use within a few minutes.

Recharge without Refilling

All PINGI products can be used again and again without the need for refills. When the product is saturated, the indicator changes to pink. Recharging occurs in a microwave oven for the time as specified on the individual PINGI package. PINGIS can also be dried in the sun but this takes some hours.
